Private Training

Based on your dog’s specific needs, we can provide a private-training program for either basic obedience or behavior modification. One-on-one attention can be highly effective if your dog does not thrive in a group setting. Private training services are conducted post-consultation with the trainer to determine the best plan of action tailored just for your pet. Sessions may take place onsite at our clinic or in the comfort of your home.

Meet Our Trainer

Brittany Shearer ABCDT Certified Dog Trainer

My name is Brittany, and I am here to serve your dog’s needs! I started working in the animal care field several years ago, and quickly developed an interest in animal behavior. I have met many animals with specific personality traits who inspired me to pursue an education in order to further assist pets like them. When I began coordinating dog play-groups, I became highly intrigued by canine psychology. I then decided to begin my journey into the world of dog training so I could better ensure more dogs can live successful lives with happy families.

Through Animal Behavior College, I have graduated from their dog obedience training program as an honors student. As part of my studies, I completed an externship at Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue. I cherish the opportunity I was given to train shelter dogs and increase their chances of getting adopted. It is certainly a goal of mine to continue volunteer work through shelters, as a well-behaved dog has a better chance of finding their forever home. As I grow in my journey, I plan to continue my education in order to further develop my knowledge and experience in various forms of training. In time, I hope to become a well-rounded professional trainer in the areas of behavior modification and service/therapy training. My ultimate dream is to open an animal sanctuary for seniors and misfits.

I promise to shower your dog with the love and respect they deserve, and assist you both in the best ways I can!
