Meet Our Trainer

Brittany Shearer ABCDT Certified Dog Trainer

My name is Brittany, and I am here to serve your dog’s needs! I started working in the animal care field several years ago, and quickly developed an interest in animal behavior. I have met many animals with specific personality traits who inspired me to pursue an education in order to further assist pets like them. When I began coordinating dog play-groups, I became highly intrigued by canine psychology. I then decided to begin my journey into the world of dog training so I could better ensure more dogs can live successful lives with happy families.

Through Animal Behavior College, I have graduated from their dog obedience training program as an honors student. As part of my studies, I completed an externship at Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue. I cherish the opportunity I was given to train shelter dogs and increase their chances of getting adopted. It is certainly a goal of mine to continue volunteer work through shelters, as a well-behaved dog has a better chance of finding their forever home. As I grow in my journey, I plan to continue my education in order to further develop my knowledge and experience in various forms of training. In time, I hope to become a well-rounded professional trainer in the areas of behavior modification and service/therapy training. My ultimate dream is to open an animal sanctuary for seniors and misfits.

I promise to shower your dog with the love and respect they deserve, and assist you both in the best ways I can!
