5 COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you recommend veterinary pet insurance?
Yes! Veterinary health insurance plans are always a great idea. There are many different companies and insurance plans to choose from. Please visit our website page Client Resources/Pet Insurance to learn more about some of the most popular plans. Clients are responsible for paying for their veterinary services at the time of administration. The insurance company will then reimburse you (the client) based on your plan type – commonly 70%, 80%, or 90%.

Will a veterinarian prescribe medication over the phone without examining my pet?
No. This is an illegal and dishonorable way of practicing veterinary medicine and we will not participate in this method. It is nearly impossible for our doctors to make an accurate medical analysis without examining the pet in person. A valid patient/client relationship is required to dispense any medications.

My pet is sick/injured and I cannot afford treatment, what should I do?
We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express), personal checks (with proper ID), and cash. We offer specialized deferred/no-interest payment options through Care Credit and the All Pet Card. We also offer payment plans through Scratch Pay. If none of the above options will work for your situation, perhaps a personal loan from a friend or family member may be needed. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide private payment plans or financial assistance. In the past, some of our clients used organizations like Waggle for financial assistance.

Do I get a refund if my pet is still sick after receiving treatment from your clinic?
Some health problems can be very complicated and various testing and treatments may be needed. Our veterinarians will make a sincere attempt to diagnose and treat your pet’s medical problems, but we are not able to provide a guarantee.

Why do fees seem to differ between hospitals?
Veterinary fees may differ depending on the level of care provided. Other factors include items such as updated medical equipment, medications, anesthetics, level of training, and more. Pet owners should always get a full explanation of veterinary services and products to fairly compare prices and levels of service/care. We are proud to offer the excellent veterinary care that your pet deserves.
