Cremation Options:
A Communal Cremation is when a group of pets are cremated together. In this case no remains will be returned to the pet owner. Communal Cremation remains are sprinkled over Pet Meadow’s Memorial Park in Hamilton, New Jersey.
Private Cremation is when each pet is cremated individually. After the cremation, the remains are returned in an elegant wooden memorial chest urn. Remains are returned to Neffsville Veterinary Clinic within 1-2 weeks. We will contact the pet owner when the remains are ready to be picked up.
Some pet owners choose to take their pet’s body home for an At-Home Burial. If you choose this option, a cardboard casket will be provided for your pet. We also encourage pet owners to check with their municipality before burial; sometimes this can conflict with certain ordinances.
Some pet owners choose burial in a Pet Cemetery. Pet cemeteries are becoming more common, especially in urban areas. Lancaster Pet Cemetery can be contacted at 291-1929 for more information on this option.
