Pet Resort Coordinator
My name is Theresa and I am the new Pet Resort Coordinator. I am honored to have joined the Neffsville family in December of 2018. I have spent most of my life around animals by taking care of and showing horses, helping to care for barn cats and loving on any dog I see! My husband and I have a rescue pup named Sadie (Corgi mix), who is the light of our lives. I look forward to meeting and building a bond with your four-legged friends. Thank you for trusting us to care for your loved ones in our Pet Resort.

Hello! My name is Heather Reist and I have been working at the Neffsville Veterinary Clinic’s Pet Resort since May of 2015. I am currently studying animal science and pre-veterinary medicine at the University of Findlay in Ohio. Since I grew up on a farm in Manheim Township raising Belgian draft horses, I came to really love animals, specifically large animals. Working at NVC’s Pet Resort has allowed me to gain experience with small animals and obtain some knowledge of veterinary medicine. My family and I currently have two Percheron horses named Cap and Tom, a Belgian named Francis, two Angus cattle named Slim Jim and Annabell, two goats, oxen, and a rooster! I also have a very spoiled cat named Peanut Butter Marshmallow (PM). In my free time I enjoy spending time with my animals and family, as well as gardening, reading, and attending local auctions. I look forward to caring for all your pets at NVC’s Pet Resort!
My name is Katelyn Reist. I have graduated from Manheim Township in 2014 and attend the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio to study animal science and pre-veterinary medicine during the school year. I live on a farm in Lancaster with my family and several livestock including Cap and Tom (two Percheron draft horses), Francis (a Belgian draft horse), Lawnboy and Gingersnap (two goat kids), and a few cats. I enjoy doing many outdoor activities including gardening, driving our Percheron and Belgian draft horses as well as caring for my family’s animals. I enjoy all types of animals and look forward to caring for your pet!
Hiya, my name is Natalia and I look forward to caring for your furry family member.
I have three wonderful pets at home. Mercedes(Russian blue) is a lovable sweet rescue I have, finding her stuck in a car axle of a Mercedes Benz car as kitten(Hence why her name is Mercedes). Prince (Chihuahua Miniature Pinscher mix) is a ball of energy that is always ready to do anything and believes he rules the neighborhood. When relaxing it never fails to find one of the two of them cuddled up to me in bed. As for the third member, Nena (Cockatiel) is an old girl who is very content to herself and always scopes the others.
When spending free time by myself, I enjoy drawing, playing videogames, watching movies/shows, and talking to my friends around the states.
I do take part actively as a member of G.S.A (Gay Straight Alliance/Gender Sexuality Alliance) in Manheim Township High School, in hopes to have our school and community more LGBT friendly.
I can’t wait to meet and care for your pets!

Hello, My name is Clarissa. I have joined the Pet Resort Team at NVC to fulfill my lifelong dream of working with animals. My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that your cherished pets will want to return to. My husband and I recently rescued the newest member of our family, Farrah a Pit Bull Terrier who has warmed our hearts.
Some of my other joys outside of adoring your pets include cooking, hiking, biking and horseback riding.
I am eagerly anticipating your pets next stay with us at the resort!
Hi there! My name is Brittany and I am honored to provide quality care for your dogs and cats. My greatest passion in life is caring for animals. I love to learn new things, so I value the opportunity to expand my knowledge in this veterinary environment. My dream is to become a dog trainer, work with service animals, and eventually own a pet sanctuary. I am currently enrolled in Animal Behavior College working towards my certification in dog obedience training. I own two wonderful cats, Dedo – a polydactyl couch potato, and Darby – a feisty and cuddly runt. When I’m not working at NVC, I enjoy making art, reading, writing, and dog walking. I look forward to spending time with your fur-babies and providing them with a spectacular vacation in our resort!

Hello, my name is Cody and I hope to meet your four-legged friend in the future if I have not already met them. I have always found a way to connect with animals including dogs and cats. Despite my allergy to dogs I still play with my dog “Duke”. Duke is a Rottweiler mix that my family rescued. When I am not working with animals, I am working on my ATV and riding it in the fields. I look forward to playing with your pets.
Hello, my name is Max “The Cat-Dad” Curtin. I started working at Neffsville Veterinary Clinic in August of 2018. I have two Swiss Mountain dogs named Ellie and Anya. I recently adopted my first cat, completely turning me into a cat-person (hence the name “Cat-Dad”). I am attending the University of Tennessee in the fall of 2019. I am not sure what I would like to major in; however, I am leaning towards the chemistry field. In my free time I enjoy playing with my dogs and cat, playing guitar, writing music, hanging out with friends, and watching Netflix or Hulu. I look forward to taking care of your four-legged friends!
Hello my name is Mikayla. I started working at the Neffsville Veterinary Clinic on July 24, 2018. I am so happy to have joined an amazing team with great people. I appreciate how much the veterinarians and staff go that extra mile for our furry friends. I currently attend Manheim Township High School and will be graduating this year. I plan on majoring in social work to get my master’s degree, and then becoming a therapist.
I am proud to say I am a part of the Mini-Thon committee at my school. We raise money for kids battling cancer to help with their medical treatment costs. I look forward to meeting and caring for your cats and dogs!
