Sarah, CVT
Inpatient Department Coordinator
Hi all, Sarah here. I graduated from Harcum College in 2012. I started my career in York county and worked my way north to Lancaster. I earned my certification years after graduating, completing my personal goal! I have a love for dentistry and anesthesia, but I love my entire career!
My home life consists of my husband, Pibble mix “Socks”, and betta fish “Bob”. In our free time, we enjoy hiking and going to the park for some water time.
I look forward to meeting your babies and treating them with the love and care they deserve.
Lisa, CVT
Inpatient Nurse, Lead Inventory and Equipment Manager
Hi, my name is Lisa and I have been a CVT since September 2006.
I received my bachelor’s degree from Juniata College and after working for a couple years I decided to go back to school to earn my Vet Tech Certification.
After graduating I worked at a clinic in Baltimore for 5 years then accepted a position at Neffsville Veterinary Clinic in 2011.
After a little over a year I left Neffsville Veterinary Clinic for a job at another clinic, but returned after 8 months because I missed working at Neffsville!
I feel blessed to work with such an amazing group of doctors and staff members.
I love working with your pets and look forward to helping you give them the best care possible!
Meagan, CVT
Inpatient Shift Lead
Hello! I’m Meagan, an inpatient nurse here at Neffsville since April 2019. I’m a native of York county but had been living in Maryland for 15 years before moving back to York in late 2018. I have a BS in Animal Science from the University of Maryland – GO TERPS! I later went back to school, passed my boards and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2015. In and out of school, I spent 16 years in the service industry and have always loved working with humans as much as animals.
Before moving back to PA I worked in a small but very busy animal hospital where I was able to gain a wide range of skills from underwater treadmill rehabilitation, force-free handling, anesthesia, wound care, and more. I am passionate about client education and love being the dental nurse for your furbabies!
When I’m not at work, I live in a “house divided” with my husband (a State College native and PSU grad) our 2 beautiful daughters– Charlie and Dylan, 2 wild & crazy dogs– Daisy and Kodak, and our geriatric kitty– Zeppelin. As a former athlete, I enjoy spending my free time as an online health + fitness coach, helping people create a healthy lifestyle!
I’m very excited to be a part of the team here and look forward to giving your fur family the best experience possible when visiting Neffsville.
Amy

Hi, my name is Amy Walker. I started at Neffsville Veterinary Clinic in August of 1998. I have attended Cedar Valley College Distance Education Vet-Tech Program.
I live in East Petersburg with my husband (Chad) and 4 kids (Olivia, Scarlet, Jackson & Georgia).
We have 2 pets that we have rescued: Lyla (Pitbull) and Sterling (orange and white domestic short-hair cat).
The best part of being an Inpatient nurse is being able to provide compassion and comfort to your pet while they stay in the hospital.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, running, and reading.
I also help at Furever Homes with fostering and volunteering my time.
Katelyn

Nicole, CVT
Inpatient Shift Lead
Hi, my name is Nicole and I am so proud to be a part of the Neffsville Veterinary Clinic. Since graduating from LCCTC and receiving my certification, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in practice. As an Inpatient Nurse here at NVC, I strive to provide the best quality of care to pets and inspire responsible pet ownership through client education.
My passion for learning about and being around animals started at a young age. A love for animals is something my family and I share, which allowed me to grow up and care for a wide variety of pets. At the end of the day, I really feel as though I’m making a difference in the lives of those who don’t have a voice, as well as their owners.
Kate
Inpatient Shift Lead
Hello! I’m Kate, a proud NVC employee since December 2019! I reside in Lebanon County but recently graduated from Lancaster CTC’s Veterinary Technician program in September 2020. I am hopeful in becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician in the near future, to later advance towards specialization in Animal Behavior and Physical Rehabilitation. During my time working, I have been enjoying all aspects of the veterinary field and simply cannot imagine myself doing anything else.
I have worked in many shelter settings, growing a profound love for rescue animals and shelter medicine. I look forward to continuing to help animals find forever homes for the rest of my life. I hope to eventually open my own animal sanctuary for foster, stray, and surrendered working/herding-breed dogs in the future.
During my free time, you can find me volunteering at my local Humane Society, traveling around the country, lounging on the beach, hiking around nature, or snowboarding in the colder months. Oftentimes, my beloved rescue canines’ Brewster, an Australian Cattle Dog, and Willow, an American Pitbull Terrier, can be found right by my side equally enjoying what wonders the world has to offer!
I am grateful every day to advance my opportunities and skills, but most importantly meeting and caring for your fur-babies!
